These multi-award-winning Queenie Scallops were awarded a GOLD rating at the Great British Food Awards in 2023.
In the past these delicious morsels have been awarded a Great Taste Gold Star by the Guild of Fine Foods in 2022, rating them simply delicious. These were also shortlisted as finalists in the Best New Product category at the NES Food & Drinks awards the same year – celebrating the food and drink producers throughout the Northeast of Scotland.
These queenie scallops are smaller in size than their king scallop counterparts and are coated in delicious crispy panko crumb. They can be deep, shallow or air fried from frozen.
The sweet meat of the scallops works well with the crispy crunch of the golden panko breadcrumbs for a taste sensation like no other!
